Play4Life Comics is celebrating its fifth anniversary .
Owner Brandon Wright started his business as a single booth inside another shop, then later moved to bigger premises at 149 S. White St. in downtown Wake Forest.
Its stock now totals 50,000 comics, graphic novels, classic zines, action figures, collectibles, books and DVDs.
To help make room for its expanding inventory, the store is having a blowout birthday sale Feb. 6-7. Everything will be discounted up to 75 percent off.
