Joe Csuka has achieved All-American status as commander, of Wake Forest Memorial Post 8466 for the years 2020-2021 during the National Convention held in August 2020.
Commander Csuka is one of 198 VFW Post commanders worldwide to earn the title of All-American Commander.
Post 8466 holds the distinction of receiving this honor four out of the past five years. To achieve this honor, commanders must meet strict requirements in their role that includes exceptional leadership, authentic accomplishment in membership growth and strong support of VFW core programs.
“These commanders are a fine example of VFW leadership. Their hard work and dedication to the mission and values of our organization has rightly earned them this great honor,” said VFW National Commander-in-chief Hal Roesch during the presentation ceremony conducted virtually due to COVID-19;
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. is the nation’s largest and oldest major war veterans organization. Founded in 1899, the congressionally-chartered organization is comprised entirely of eligible veterans and service members from the active military, National Guard and Reserve forces. With 1.7 million VFW and Auxiliary members located in 6,400 Posts worldwide, the nonprofit veterans service organization is dedicated to veterans’ service, legislative advocacy, and military and community service programs.
