Wake Forest High School’s football coach, Reggie Lucas, has three state titles on his resume, as well as, a streak of 45 consecutive wins. Now, Lucas has been chosen by Maxpreps.com as North Carolina’s best high school football coach.
MaxPreps.com, a website that covers high school sports in the United States, released its list of the top high school football coaches in all 50 states on Friday, Aug. 8.
The coaches were picked on their merits of the last five to ten years. Not necessarily the best to ever coach in each state.
Lucas has an overall record of 143-17 in 11 seasons at Wake Forest High School to go with his state championships.
