Bert J. Hicks, 66, of Louisburg passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Wake Medical Center. He was born October 17, 1953 in Wake County son of the late Joseph L. Hicks and Marie Elizabeth Hicks.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Bright Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Beulah Christian Baptist Church Cemetery in Zebulon. Social distancing and face coverings are appreciated.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Hicks, daughter, Renee Hicks, three sisters, Anna Marie Kearney and husband Marvin, Linda Hurt and husband Donald and Eleanor “Dinky” Bailey and husband Gary and seven grandchildren.
