FROM WSJSTAFF REPORTS
Griffin’s restaurant, a staple of Youngsville’s downtown for thirty years, will be closing permanently at 2 p.m. on Friday Oct. 16.
Ownership claims the COVID-19 pandemic as the reason for closing.
“As with many small family owned businesses, this pandemic has gotten the best of us with reduced seating capacity and we have been forced to sell,” said a spokesman for Griffin’s.
“Our family is so very grateful to have served the Youngsville and surrounding community for more than 30 years now. We have met many many wonderful people. Lots of you we have grown to know as family. All of you will be dearly missed!”
There is not information when the restaurant will reopen under new ownership.
