4th Annual American Legion Golf Tournament

It isn’t too late to register for some great prises and to help provide funds for assisting our veteran population

There is still time to register for the Fourth Annual American Legion Post 187 Legionnaire Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Brevofield Golf Links Oct. 19, 2020 with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

A rain date has been planned for Oct. 20, 2020.

“This year we are only seeking Corporate Sponsors,”  said Mike Janssen, tournament director. We will use last year’s hole sponsors as an appreciation to last year’s sponsors,” 

Entry Fees:

  • Individual entry fee is $60. After Oct. 1, individual fee is $70.
  • Teams of 4 entry fee will be $225. After Oct. 1, teams of four entry fee is $250.

Overall winner of the tournament will receive a 40” color smart television with a complete wall mounting bracket.

The winning team will receive a trophy.

A putting challenge will be part of the tournament, conducted at the end of the round and the winner will receive $100.00.

The golfer who gets a “Hole in One” on the designated par-3 hole will receive a prize of $5,000.

Other designated par-3 holes will carry prizes for a “Hole in One”. 

Family members wishing to accompany golfers can ride with the contestant on the same golf cart courtesy of the Brevofield staff.

A lunch will be provided to all participants and volunteers by Post 187’s talented kitchen staff.

Food to be provided by Sam’s Club and awards by Wake Forest Awards and Engraving.
