Lisa Hayes was honored for her time serving downtown Wake Forest.
The former director of Wake Forest Downtown, Inc. was thanked by her former employer with the dedication of the iconic downtown Wake Forest clock in her honor.
Hayes, who joined the Town of Wake Forest in 2012, became the town’s new strategic performance manager on Jan. 4.
Hayes was replaced as downtown development manager by Jennifer Herbert.
Herbert started her new job on Feb. 8.
