Donald Vinson McLean, Jr., 80, of Raleigh, passed away on April 10, 2021. He was born on January 16, 1941 in Wadesboro, NC and is preceded in death by his parents, Donald V. McLean Sr. and Elizabeth Folger and by his son Donald V. McLean III.
Donald is survived by his wife Inez C. McLean and three children: Teresa McLean, Ellen Brantley (Tim), and Robert T. McLean (Carrie). He is also survived by several grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Donald was dedicated to public service throughout his life and served for 30 years with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, and with his last assignment being at Patrol headquarters, He retired at the rank of F-Sgt. He also worked for the United States Marshal Service, and is a military veteran.
Visitation was April 14, 2021 at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main Street, Wake Forest.
