American Legion Post 187 will be placing flags on veterans’ graves to honor fallen heroes Memorial Day weekend.
Anyone wishing to participate is invited. Over 1,500 flags will be put in seventeen area cemeteries.
If interested, meet at the American Legion building at 225 Holding Ave., Wake Forest between 8-9 a.m., Saturday, May 29.
