The Legacy Motown Revue will kick off the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre’s 2021-22 “Rockin’ the Forest” music series on Friday, Sept. 24, at 7:30 p.m.
A limited number of tickets are still available for $15 each plus tax. Tickets can be purchased online at wakeforestrencen.org with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit card. Advance tickets may also be purchased with cash, check or credit card at the Renaissance Centre Box Office, 405 S. Brooks St. This event is expected to sell out, so anyone interested in attending is encouraged to purchase their tickets now.
Assembling some of the top musical acts in our area, the Rockin’ the Forest music series features a variety of popular beach music and cover bands that play beach music and rock and roll covers from classic to modern rock, with a little funk and original music thrown in.
The next “Rockin’ the Forest” concert will feature the Band of Oz on Saturday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m.Advance tickets are on sale and include $15 general admission tickets, $25 reserved seats, and $40 VIP seats.
Designed to offer local audiences first rate performances that previously required area residents to travel to Raleigh, Chapel Hill or Durham, each Rockin’ the Forest concert will take place inside the intimate comfort of the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre. Each will also include a cash bar serving beer and wine.
