Barbara Bowden Jobe, formerly of Quarry Road, Wake Forest, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021 at Franklin Manor. She was born in Durham County the daughter of the late Lucille Duke Bowden and Carey Hall Bowden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Leon Jobe.
Barbara graduated from Rolesville High School where she earned perfect attendance all the way through 12th grade. She was a retired title supervisor with the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.
A graveside funeral service was at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest.
Mrs. Jobe is survived by her sons, Danny Jobe (Cindy) of Benson and Frankie Jobe (Betsy) of Youngsville; grandchildren, Mandy Jobe of Benson, Tara White (Christian) of Youngsville, Taylor Jobe (Erika) of Zebulon and seven great-grandchildren.
