Vaccine on the Green

Vaccination events for ages 12 and up will be held in Asheboro and Raleigh

COVID-19 vaccines are our best shot to bring back summer and get everyone safely back to the people, places and activities they love. Two vaccination events for ages 12 and up will be held in Asheboro and Raleigh this weekend to help bring summer back in NC! No I.D. is required at either event.

NCDHHS, in partnership with the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, is hosting a vaccine clinic for anyone 12 and older at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro on May 20 through May 22from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The Pfizer vaccine will be offered at the event to anyone 12 and older or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and anyone 18 and older.

The Vaccine on the Green event at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 21 and 22 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 23. Appointments are available here and walk-ups are welcome! A second dose will be offered at Dorothea Dix Park on June 12 or at WakeMed.
